Our experience with Brittany was simply amazing. We felt totally supported and comforted by her expertise, wisdom and knowledge. She is calm, centered and present. Her presence allowed for our anxieties and fears to be cast aside and allowed for us to also be present. Instead of worried, I felt empowered - I was able to surrender to the unknown and enjoy my pregnancy and my birth process. Having her be apart of our journey was such a beautiful gift and forever we will be grateful to Brittany to help us get to that place of surrender. We love you Brittany! -Annelise and Randy P

We were so pleased with our decision to have Brittany as our Doula! I was hoping for a VBAC with my second pregnancy and we met Brittany through a VBAC class she taught. After meeting her I immediately felt comfortable and at ease. Her knowledge of VBACs, vaginal deliveries and pain management strategies made me confident that I could achieve the vaginal delivery I so deeply desired. Our home meetings only further solidified that we had made the right choice in choosing Brittany, she was responsive and so easy to talk to, I felt like we had been friends for a long time. She was such a huge support during my labor and delivery as well. She provided me with the breathing and pushing guidance I needed to get me through and she was such a comfort to my husband and I! After delivery she was available every time I reached out to her with questions or concerns and she checked in periodically to see how all of us were doing. I can't do her justice in this testimonial, she is a fantastic person and Doula!! Thank you Brittany for everything!!

As my husband and I were preparing for our eldest daughter’s birth, I knew I wanted and needed some extra support. The new journey that my husband and I were about to embark on was filled with so much joy and excitement, but also fear and uncertainty. Brittany helped us make informed decisions as we navigated our travels. She gave us the facts and listened to us-without judgement. I cannot describe how comforting her presence was before, during, and after the birth of our eldest daughter. We knew when we were blessed again with our second daughter that Brittany was meant to be by our side on this next journey. We wouldn’t have had it any other way. I would recommend Brittany because she is incredibly knowledgeable and is a phenomenal support as we make our way maidenhood to motherhood. -Kasey, mama to 2 beautiful girls

I can't say enough good things about our birth experience with Brittany, so I'll illustrate with a story. The morning after our son was born, we were walking down the hall of the maternity wing to a breastfeeding class when one of the nurses stopped me to chat. She had been there for much of my active labor, though her shift had ended before I gave birth. She was amazed at how well Brittany had been able to intuit what I needed at each stage of my labor and asked whether I had known her for a long time. "No," I exclaimed, "we found her online!"
Brittany was truly there for me, my husband, and our son every step of the way. In the final weeks of my pregnancy, she helped me build the confidence I needed to have a completely unmedicated birth, but I also knew that she would help me make decisions about medical interventions if they arose. In the delivery room, she helped me stay calm and focused, explained the scary bits to me, and allowed my husband some breaks when he needed them. When I wound up back in the hospital with postpartum preeclampsia, Brittany was once again there to support our family, asking if we needed anything.
I absolutely recommend Brittany as a birth doula, and if we have another baby, I will call her the second we get a positive pregnancy test.

2000 characters is not enough to adequately recommend Brittany as a doula for your birth. I'll try and be concise. Our daughter, Margot, was born at home, and Brittany arrived at our house at 3am ready to rock for soon-to-be momma in the middle of very painful back labor. Brittany took our home birth in stride, finding towels, blankets, food, and water with groggy ease in the dark. She knew the immediate positions to help promote a more comfortable back labor for my wife, and was not phased by the number of times my wife vomited. While my wife labored in our bathtub, Brittany was a very calming presence, which allowed my wife to continue more confidently. She worked very well with our midwives. I honestly couldn't have been nearly the help as Brittany.
Probably as relevant, Brittany taught our birthing classes through Flutterby, and was also very active post-partum. She continued to be a resource after the birth with visits, texts, and was a very reliable reference when our daughter struggled breastfeeding. Honestly, we are very lucky to have had someone like Brittany, who ended up being the 'whole package,' and a new friend.
Brittany will approach your birth with confidence, knowledge, and care, helping you understand your labor as a series of decisions and not reactions. When we were scared, she clarified the process for us. When we had to troubleshoot, she already had options for us in her head. Our birth was excellent for so many reasons, but Brittany was a HUGE component of it.

My husband and I hired Brittany to be our doula after attending her home birth course. She was very understanding of our needs and went out of her way to help us achieve our birthing goals. Her presence allowed me and my husband to spend labor close together. She also gave us really good ideas for how to cope with labor and ease the pain. I cannot understate my gratitude for her during my labor and postpartum. Brittany is kind and positive, which were invaluable to me during the hardest points of labor. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a birth doula! Her attitude, energy, and skills are unparalleled. My labor would not have gone as smoothly as it did without her!

There are not enough good things I can say about my experience with Brittany as my Doula. I was planning to have a VBAC (vaginal birth after c-section) , and I wanted as much support as possible. Brittany was very informative at our first prenatal meeting. Throughout my whole pregnancy, my questions were answered on a very timely basis. Brittany become part of our family, my husband and I were very comfortable with her being my birth coach. As the time approached, Brittany arrived at our house to be with us as we drove to the hospital. She coached me through my breathing and laboring process. The labor began to go down the road of my first child (c-section), and Brittany gave me the strength to trust my body and let the baby come naturally. Her massaging and encouragement were just the tools that I needed to continue. Brittany did not leave my side even as the room became full of other nurses and doctors. A personal goal of mine was to have a vaginal birth, and better birth experience than the birth of my first child.Honestly, if it wasn’t for Brittany-I do not think I would have been able to have a vaginal birth and a much better birth experience than my first. I highly recommend this Doula.

Hiring Brittany to assist at my delivery was the best decision we made as first time parents! Not only was she a wealth of information, support and assurance before the delivery, she made us feel like we had someone on our side during our delivery, which did not go according to our plan. After 45 hours of induction and labor, she was there for 24+ of the active laboring hours and was able to stay with me when my husband needed to stay with the baby in special care. Brittany was able to take the time to explain our options (which the nurses/doctors didn't always have time to do) and the pros/cons each time we were confronted with new decision in labor, and I felt supported, informed, and encouraged throughout the process.
She is naturally calm, reassuring, and completely nonjudgemental. If we have another child, I would absolutely hire her again. You will be in the best of hands with Brittany!

I am writing to recommend Brittany Kubricky as an excellent Doula and/or childbirth educator. My family’s journey with Brittany began in November 2012. Expecting our first child, we enrolled in the Lamaze course and Brittany was our teacher. She had a wealth of knowledge and conveyed it extremely well. We truly enjoyed our six-week course. We learned about everything from labor and delivery to infant care and breastfeeding. Brittany was helpful, kind, funny, and relatable. She made the information easy to understand and not too intimidating.
As we got to know Brittany, we decided to hire her as our Doula. We have very little family in the area and knew we needed extra support during labor and delivery. Her presence was incredibly calming and supportive throughout our Lamaze class, we knew having Brittany as our Doula was the best plan. Brittany guided us through our birth plan, fears, and got to know us more at a pre-delivery meeting. She spent a lot of time with us and never made us feel rushed. Brittany was always a phone call or email away in the weeks and days before our due date. She answered any questions we had about the changes and pre-labor symptoms. As we passed our due date Brittany was available to discuss our options and be educated prior to making a choice about induction.
Labor started 10 days after our due date and Brittany came straight to our house. She stayed with us as we labored at home. When we were ready to go to the hospital she met us there. At the hospital, she was an ever-comforting presence. She was an integral member of the team. She allowed family to take breaks, encouraged water and food when needed, gave amazing counter pressure and back rubs, and overall made labor and delivery more tolerable and calm. As most births go, there were unexpected changes. Brittany continued to be our rock. She worked tirelessly to ensure our comfort and success. Baby Caroline finally made her entrance 21 hours after our arrival at the hospital. Brittany never left our side. She stayed for a few hours after delivery. My family and I knew we could not have made it through the process without Brittany.
Brittany had a postpartum meeting with us to discuss anything and everything. She continued to support us via email, texts, and phone calls. Brittany calmed my new mother jitters and offered a lot of encouragement and reassurance.
My husband and I are eternally grateful to Brittany. We will definitely hire her for our future births.

Brittany Kubricky was an amazing Doula. I can't imagine what my birth experience would have been like without her. She was very helpful and informative throughout my whole pregnancy all the way to the end and postpartum. If I needed anything, had any questions - she was quick to respond and provide an ease of mind. During the actual labor process, Brittany was by our side - making sure I was okay, everything that I wanted was met on my birth plan, and she made sure that my fiance was taken care of as well. She massaged me during my contractions and kept me hydrated and fed so that I had the energy needed to give birth to my beautiful son. After my son was born, I had some serious complications and Brittany came straight to the hospital in the middle of the night to make sure she could help in any way. She made sure my son was okay so that my fiance and I could focus on what we needed to do to get me better. I would recommend her a million times over. She is a wonderful Doula and a beautiful person.

You have a very caring and nurturing way about you that made us feel very supported and proud of the work we were doing for our baby, just like you did during our labor and delivery! Having not had a baby or a doula before, we obviously didn't know what to expect, and I just thought you should know how much we appreciated your approach and soft skills during labor, delivery and postpartum. Thanks again for being apart of that experience with us!

My husband and I just love Brittany! We had her as our doula for our first baby just a few weeks ago. Brittany is supportive, caring, loving, and full of great pregnancy information. Whenever we had a question she responded quickly and professionally. With her guidance I went into labor feeling strong, confident, and informed. I would highly recommend Brittany as a doula and would have her on my birthing team again!
Sincerely,
BJ, Jenna, and Penelope
